About the School of Political Sciences
Head of School: Prof. Eran Vigoda-Gadot
The School of Political Sciences at the University of Haifa is one of the largest and most prominent centers in Israel for the study of Political Science, including Israeli Politics, Political Theory, International Relations, Public Administration, Public Policy, Local Government, and Comparative Politics. More than 1,300 students are enrolled in the various programs that the School offers, of whom about 650 are undergraduates and another 650 graduate students.
The School is comprised of three divisions:
1. The Division of Government and Political Theory
2. The Division of International Relations
3. The Division of Public Administration and Policy
The School publishes the journal State and Society (in Hebrew) and is home to two vibrant research centers: The Center for the Study of Public Administration and Policy and The National Security Studies Center.
Alumni of the School of Political Science fill leading roles in the academic world as well as in management, communications, and politics.
