פרופ' איתי בארי, חבר המחלקה למנהל ומדיניות ציבורית בבי"ס למדעי המדינה, אוניברסיטת חיפה. עיקר התמחותו בקשר שבין שלטון מקומי, ממשל מקומי ומשברים ציבוריים. הוא עוסק ביחסי שלטון מרכזי-מקומי, דמוקרטיה מקומית, ביצועים ציבוריים, אזוריות, אי-שוויון מרחבי וחיות-בר במרחב העירוני. בארי פרסם למעלה מ-70 מאמרים ופרקים בכתבי עת וספרים אקדמיים והוא משמש יועץ למספר גופים ציבוריים כגון משרד הפנים, עיריית חיפה, אלכא - גו'ינט, תשתית, עדליא, פנימה, שקיפות בינל"א ישראל והמרכז לחקר ופיתוח האזוריות באשכול רשויות המפרץ. כמו כן, הוא היזם של הפודקאסט לילדים והורים 'פוליטיקה בקטנה'.
