| Dr. Neta Gilat is a faculty member at the Faculty of Management, School of Business Administration at the University of Haifa. Her research interests include disclosure theory, information economics, corporate governance, and regulation.
She completed her Ph.D. in Accounting at Tel Aviv University. Her dissertation explored the unexpected effects of increased oversight on the quality and quantity of corporate disclosure. Following her doctoral studies, she was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Business School as part of its academic visitor program Before entering academia, Dr. Gilat worked as an economic researcher at Bank Leumi and as a product manager specializing in financial instruments and risk at the fintech company Pagaya. She holds an M.A. in Economics from Ben-Gurion University and a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University. |
